The Hori-Hori knife is suitable for both gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts. It is used to weed, sow, move bulbs, dig the proper hole, and chop branches. These aren't only for gardeners. It's also excellent hunting, fishing, and camping knife.
It has a Japanese Stainless Steel Concave Blade for digging, a sharp beveled edge for slicing, and a serrated opposing edge for cutting tree branches. Inch marks etched on the blade guarantee that you plant and seed at the proper depth.
Nisaku is Japanese for "Quality." The Nisaku blade is scratch and corrosion-resistant. All of the tools are handcrafted by Japanese artisans who have spent a lifetime ensuring that your equipment will last for many seasons.
The Hori-Hori knife was first used in Japan by Matagi (traditional hunters) to unearth plants such as Sansai (wild veggies) in the highlands. It is currently the ideal gardening, hunting, chopping, and fishing knife to keep in your gardening backpack.
Product Dimensions (cm): 33.02 x 7.11 x 3.81
The Nisaku stainless steel weeding knife has straight and serrated blades, making it ideal for splitting plants, planting bulbs, flowers, and herbs, digging out weeds, removing rocks, cutting through roots, and so much more! It is the most often used garden knife. The NJP650 is the industry standard for Hori-Hori knives and is ranked #1 in several gardening publications!
It has a concave blade for digging, a sharp beveled edge for slicing, and a serrated opposing edge for cutting. Inch markings carved on the blade allow you to plant at the exact depth you need, measure rope, and more. These aren't only for gardeners! It's also an excellent knife for gardening and camping.
A full-width mid-tang construction allows for the use of heavier steel without making the knife overly weighty. This guarantees that your Hori is incredibly sturdy, bend-resistant, and has a lot of leeways. A 5.25-inch-long hardwood handle provides a secure grip for all-day digging and helps you to press into the dirt with more control.
It comes with a durable fake leather sheath with a snap-loop for belt attachment.
