• Superior Speeds with MU-MIMO — The EAP225 is designed with the most recent 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology and consistently transmits dual-band Wi-Fi data at rates of up to 1350 Mbps to numerous devices at once.
• Omada's Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network hardware, such as access points, switches, and gateways, with a variety of control methods available, including an Omada Hardware Controller, an Omada Software Controller, or an Omada cloud-based Controller (Contact TP-Link for Cloud-Based Controller Plan Details). It also applies to standalone mode.
• Cloud Access — Remote Cloud Access and the Omada app provide centralized cloud administration of the whole network from various locations, all under the control of a single interface that is accessible from any location at any time.
• Make sure your devices/controllers are either equipped with or can be updated to the SDN version in order to use SDN.
EAP225 supports both 802.3af/at PoE and Passive PoE power supplies and may be powered by either a PoE switch or the included PoE adapter, allowing for flexible and simple deployment.
