Oak has an earthy, mild aroma that is great for smoking meats and other cooking. Oak is easy to light, makes a hot fire, and burns long, as expected from a seasoned hardwood. Oak also mixes well with other species to extend burn time and create unique fragrance profiles. Every order is packed in a box filled with a variety of whole and split logs. Wood is approximately 16-18 inches long x 1-3 inch diameter. All of our products undergo a kiln dry process which wicks away moisture and seasons the wood to ensure a perfect fire. Each product is unique as this is a natural product and may not match the picture identically. Please note: while you are welcome to use this product as a decorative item in your home, we do not package nor advertise it as such. A wide range of sizes within the box, as well as loose bark, chips and normal debris are to be expected. Choose from our XL or Regular size firewood box. Our XL box is 16-18 x 12 x 12 inches and approximately 35 pounds. Our Regular box is 16 x 12 x 7 inches and approximately 18 pounds.
